Lanvin put out yet another fabulous collection for the fall season. As one of my top 2 fav designers, they never really let me down. This showing was a trip through the ages to me, having looks that lent itself to the eras of the 30's, 40's and 50's. It was a richly intense collection that combined the full metal abrasiveness of heavy wool in bold colors, with the light femininity that comes with silk and the like. It was a collection made for a strong and powerful woman, who also knows how to go out and dance at night, and followed in the path of many other shows this season- captivating the idea of bold female figures who are strong, independent minded, all while staying true to the concept of genuine inner beauty that shines through the clothes you wear.
