Marilyn at Dolce and Gabbana

At Milan Fashion Week (last week), Dolce and Gabbana made it a point to take graphic prints of legendary stars to the runway. It was first shown at D&G as I previously showed, and then at Dolce and Gabbana itself-only this time with Marilyn Monroe. While I LOVED the D&G collection, I was less than enthusiastic about the latter. The show was built up of silly costume ventures- shoulders of ungodly proportions-which was bad enough for me-but the fact the models were wearing gloves as hats-OVERKILL. The star of the show was the radical pink that was shown from ensemble to ensemble, showing up in belts, pumps, dresses, and my own favorite- the goat hair coats.
