I love this vintage mid-50's day dress by Nelson-Caine. It showcases a cinched waist accompanied by pleating (which I rarely advise), and darting at the chest. The shape is vintage and iconic, yet would be perfect for modernism as well. What works best however, is the black and white color pallet, which really comes alive with the removable corsage, which adds new life to the piece. The shape and color palette is right on track with current collections, and could even look great with black leggings, but mostly a great pair of red heels. And at $95- it's a steal. Ooh La la!
